Welcome to the Medicine Hat stay information page. You can book your stay at our House by following the three easy steps below. *Online referral forms must be completed by your social worker or a member of the child’s medical team.

Families with a child receiving medical treatment at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital Centre should contact a hospital social worker or a member of the child’s medical team for a referral.
To be eligible to stay, families will need a medical referral that is no more than 1 year old.
Please note that a referral does not guarantee accommodation.
When you receive a referral, you will be placed on the room request list. All families must call to confirm availability within 24 hours of their intended date of arrival.
To confirm room availability, parents can phone the House no earlier than one day in advance. Availability inquiries can be made seven days a week. Please contact our Family Services team at 403-487-6166.
Once you have confirmed your room, you can check-in any time of the day or night. Parking will be provided for your length of stay.
Once checked in, our Family Services team will provide you with a tour of the House and answer any questions.
