Our longstanding relationship with McDonald’s® Canada has existed since RMHC® Canada was founded in 1982. Their unwavering support helps keep families with sick children together.
Since the 10 cent Happy Meal® program was launched in 2004, McDonald’s Canada has raised over $100M in support of families with sick children across Canada. In addition to Happy Meal sales, every May, McHappy Day raises incredible funds and awareness for RMHC Canada. McHappy Day celebrations have generated over $100M for communities across the country. We have also benefitted from the RMHC cookie, as well as Round Up, where guests can round up their order to the nearest dollar, with the difference being donated to RMHC. 100% of the funds ‘rounded up’ go directly to supporting families with sick children in their local community. Rounding Up is a meaningful way to support families of sick children in your community. Every cent makes a big difference.
McDonald’s Owner/Operators and their restaurant teams and guests are dedicated supporters of our Mission. They help provide much-needed funds and volunteer support, and they help raise awareness of our work.
